Statement of Faith
At First Christian Church in Texhoma, we are continuationist complimentarians that are pre-millennial and evangelical.
Our Ministries
At First Christian Church of Texhoma, we value discipleship and teaching the Bible chapter-by-chapter, and verse-by-verse. We have several ministries that both you and your family will thrive in and grow closer to Jesus.
School of Ministry
We have our very own School of Ministry, non-accredited bible college. We will be starting this up very soon, so stay tuned!
Our Leadership
The Scriptures place a high moral standard on those who would be ministers of the Gospel. Therefore we expect moral and ethical integrity among those with whom are in leadership. Biblical guidelines for elders, as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.
Our Philosophy of Ministry
We believe that the Book of Acts of the Apostles, as well as the New Testament, give us the principles by which the church is to function.
We place great importance on the exposition of Scriptures. A specific emphasis on chapter-by-chapter and verse-by-verse teaching through the entire Bible.
We rely strongly on the ministry of the Holy Spirit and seek to remain flexible to His leading. We believe that the Holy Spirit’s leading will always be consistent with the clear teaching of the Scripture.
We are convinced that where God guides, He provides. Therefore we trust the lord to provide for and to build His church.
We seek to worship and serve the Lord within the context of our culture, yet we recognize that culture must conform to the Scriptures, not the Scriptures to the culture.
